Something a little different ....?...what about "objet trouve "...!!
I had fun with this one.......This painting is one of a small series using "objet trouve " (yep thats found things and collage !) together with ink and acrylic paint.
The title is "Memories in The River of Time". It will be on display and for sale at my next Solo Exhibition in January 2016 at Gladstone , NSW. (size 122cm x 61cm).
If you get up close there are a number of unusual items embedded in the work.
New Work ...straight off the easel
Just thought I would post the new work ......I love it !!!!!!....created with Matisse Professional Artists Acrylic Colour and Art Spectrum Concentrated Artists ink. This one is fairly large , approximately 90cm x 150cm (3ft x 5ft)....
This painting will be featured in my next Solo Exhibition at the Macleay Valley Community Art Gallery, Kinchella St , Gladstone, NSW. The Exhibition will start from 13th January , 2016. If you want a sneak preview , the setup day is tuesday 12 January.
The painting just needs the final varnish ....and a Title !!...any ideas ??

Have just been working on a few new ink and acrylic works over the last few weeks ....and it looks like they are starting to come together....... Can you guess which are part of the same series ??

Here is a shot of a couple of just finished paintings ........I have just put the final coat of varnish on them ......so all the doors and windows are wide open !!!!!....... havent got names for these ones yet ,but they are from the "World of Tree and Grass" series....any suggestions ???
Another beauty flys off the wall at Sails Resort, Port Macquarie.....
This large beautiful work moved off to a new home today, sold from the wall at Sails Resort. This favourite painting is approximately 183cm x 60cm. Acrylc on canvas...It was painted with many layers of transparent colour to build up the final result....It is titled Dreaming in The Landscape of Tree and Grass"
